Ignatia Farmakopoulou is Assistant Professor at the Department of Education and Social Work, University of Patras in Greece, specializing at “Social Work with Children, Adolescents and Family”. She teaches seven courses, three of which are a) Family Counselling, b) Social Work with Families, and c) Family Therapy. She did her Postgraduate Studies in the UK (Master, Ph.D, 2 Post-Docs) and then worked for 2 decades as a clinical social worker and family psychotherapist in the Child Psychiatry Clinic of EKPA University of Athens at Children’s Hospital “Agia Sophia”. She has taught in several University Departments, has conducted many research studies and has made numerous publications.
